• Thirty-five-year-old Werner Fajardo (fa-HAHR'-doh) is charged with six counts of rape and several counts of providing alcohol to minors at his El Cuervo bar in Huron. He's pleaded not guilty.
• Fajardo is scheduled to appear in Beadle County Court on Tuesday at 11 a.m. to discuss several motions related to his trial. His trial is set to begin May 16.
• Fajardo is being held at the Beadle County Jail on $150,000 bond.

Mpls. FBI head leaves bureau after 20-year career

• MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- The head of the FBI in Minneapolis is retiring after 20

years with the bureau to return to practicing law, and he said he hopes to one day become a judge.
• Special Agent in Charge Don Oswald told The Associated Press on Monday that leaving the bureau is hard, but he has had longtime aspirations of being a judge in south Florida, where he previously practiced law and served as a traffic magistrate.
