Sioux Falls police arrest suspected arsonist

• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- Sioux Falls police have arrested a man for suspected arson after a vehicle burned in an area where a string of suspicious fires occurred last fall.
• Sioux Falls Police Chief Doug Barthel says officials don't know yet whether 24-year-old Damon First In Trouble is responsible for other fires in an area north of downtown Sioux Falls.
• Barthel tells KELO-TV (http://bit.ly/H3NgjA ) officers will investigate any possible connection to the earlier fires. He says Friday's arrest sends a message the police are continuing to look into the 16 fires last fall that prompted a $10,000 reward offer

for information leading to an arrest.
• Police say that after a van caught fire early Friday morning, they caught First In Trouble nearby with a lighter and black residue on his hands.
