JULY 2, 2018 - JOINT ABERDEEN CITY/BROWN COUNTY MEETING
The Brown County Commission and the Aberdeen City Council met in joint session at 5:30 P.M. in the Aberdeen City Council Chambers, 123 S Lincoln Street, Aberdeen, SD. Present from City were Council Members Bunsness, Johnson, Lunzman, Olson, Remily, Rux, Slaight-Hansen and Mayor Levsen. Council Member Ronayne was absent. Present from County were Commissioners Kippley, Sutton, Fischbach and Hansen. Commissioner Fjeldheim was absent.
ORDINANCE #18-06-03 /476:
On motion by Bunsness and seconded by Johnson, the City unanimously adopted Ordinance #18-06-03 /476. Moved by Fischbach, seconded by Sutton to adopt Ordinance #18-06-03/476, An Ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 1164 to rezone the following described property from its present zoning designation of (A-1) Agricultural District to (M-AG) Mini-Agricultural District: Lot 1, Bogenhagen Subdivision in the SE ¼ of Sec 4-T122N-R63W of the 5th P.M., Brown County, South Dakota (13671 391st Avenue). Roll call vote: Commissioners Hansen-aye, Sutton-aye, Fischbach-aye, Kippley-aye, Fjeldheim-absent. Ordinance adopted.
SET HEARING ORDINANCE #18-07-02/478 AND ORDINANCE #18-07-03/479:
On motion by Olson and seconded by Lunzman, the City unanimously voted to set hearing date of July 24, 2018 for Ordinance #18-07-02/478 and Ordinance #18-07-03/479. Moved by Sutton, seconded by Hansen to set public hearing for the following Ordinances, to be held in the Brown County Commission Chambers on July 24, 2018 at 8:45 A.M: Ordinance #18-07-02/478, An Ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 1164 to rezone the following described property from its present zoning designation of (M-AG) Mini-Agricultural District and (A-1) Agricultural District to (M-AG) Mini-Agricultural District: Lot 14, Blk 3, Moulton’s First Subdivision in the SE ¼ of Sec 2-T122N-R64W of the 5th P.M., Brown County, South Dakota (Lot directly West of 13687 387th Ave); and Ordinance #18-07-03/479, An Ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 1164 to rezone the following described property from its present zoning designation of (C-2) Highway Commercial District to (R-2) Medium Density Residential District: Lots 1 and 2, Peter Reinbold Exception in the SW ¼ of Sec 2-T123N-R64W of the 5th P.M., Brown County, South Dakota (1402 and 1412 24th Ave NW). All members present voting aye. Motion Carried.
