The NWS Storm Prediction Center expects a slight risk of severe weather in the Central U.S on Saturday. The area of concern extends from Minnesota to northern Texas. The primary threats for this area are damaging winds, hail, isolated tornadoes and moderate to heavy precipitation which may cause localized flash flooding.

• Tonight: Partly cloudy. A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening. Lows in the upper 50s. Southwest winds 5 to 15 mph.

• Sunday: Breezy. Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 80s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph shifting to the west 15 to 25 mph in the afternoon.
