A chance of storms exists today as a low pressure system intensifies and moves east. Any storms that do develop are expected to stay mainly across western and southern SD. The low pressure system moves northeast Wednesday, with an even greater threat for strong or severe storms setting up. Hail, wind and isolated tornadoes may be possible Wednesday, especially across north central and northeast SD, as well as west central MN.
