Heavy rain and severe thunderstorms possible for southern & central Plains to Miss. Valley on Monday
Severe thunderstorms with strong winds and hail are expected from southwest Texas to the lower Mississippi River Valley on Monday. In addition, heavy rainfall could cause flash flooding in parts of the Plains. Meanwhile, very hot and dry weather will continue from central California to the Desert Southwest.
