• The Merry Music Makers Awards Recital was held on Friday, May 23, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Aberdeen.
• Gabriel Taylor and Jeslyn Kosel received Superior Ratings at the Aberdeen Music Festival. Lisa Taylor and Julianna Kosel received an Excellent Rating. Gabriel Taylor received his Gold Cup this year and also received a Composer Award and was the most improved. Church awards were given to Jeslyn and Julianna Kosel. Most versatile musician was Lisa Taylor.
• Lunch was served by their teacher, Mrs. Bernard Olson, following the recital.
