Groton's girls golf team placed third at the Redfield-Doland Invitational held May 2. Mobridge won the team title with 363 followed by Roncalli with 399, Groton had 426, Redfield-Doland 431 and Milbank 450.
Nikki Koehler shot a 96, Maddy Colestock a 109, Rachel Blackmun also a 109 and Kasey Waage a 112.

Maddy Colestock placed in 10th place at the Pine Hills Golf Course on May 3. She shot a 103. Others golfing were Rachel Blackmun with a 113, Kasey Waage a 114 and Nikki Koehler a 118. Team points were: Mobridge-Pollock 399, Madison 400, Roncalli 433, Groton 448, Milbank 504.

Word has it that this is the first time ever, if not, at least for a long time, that Groton's lady golf team has defeated Roncalli in an inviational. The Lady Tigers won the Roncalli Invitational held May 5 with 396 points followed by Roncalli with 400, Aberdeen Central had 434, Redfield-Doland 440 and Milbank 459.
Maddy Colestock and Nikki Koehler each shot a 94 while Kasey Waage had a 102, Rachel Blackmun a 106 and Katie Koehler 117.

Maddy Colestock shot a 91 to place second at the Britton Invitational held April 22. Rachel Blackmun was fourth with a 96, Kasey Waage was sixth with a 99 and Nikki Koehler was eight with a 100. Katie Koehler shot a 126. No team points were kept.
