Smokey Bear/Woodsy Owl Poster Winners

Hanten takes first at state

The South Dakota Federation of Garden Clubs sponsors the state Smokey Bear/Woodsey Owl poster contest. The Groton Garden Club sponsors the local contest.
Of the 15 local winners, seven were state winners.
Local winners of the second grade were Lance Tietz, first place; Kyleigh Englund, second place; and Ava Wienk, third place.

Local first grade winners were Brevin Fliehs, second place; Teylor Diegel, third place; and Gretchen Dinger, first place.
