• PIERRE - Knowing how eager communities are to host high school athletic tournaments, the South Dakota High School Activities Association took action on two items at its meeting Tuesday to provide direction in that area.
• The board approved the second reading of a measure to form a site selection committee to provide input to the board and it also approved a statewide survey of students, parents, coaches, administrators and fans to be conducted by Lawrence and Schiller, a Sioux Falls-based advertising and marketing agency.
