(AP) -- Rocker Pat Benatar is among the performers slated to play the 2014 Corn Palace Festival this summer in Mitchell. • • The 1980s star with such hits as "Hit Me with Your Best Shot" and "Heartbreaker" will join her musician husband, Neil "Spyder" James Giraldo, for a Friday night performance. • • Sunday will head back to the 1960s with a performance by Tommy James and the Shondells. Sheriff says missing SD woman's home vandalized
• • WOONSOCKET, S.D. (AP) -- Authorities in east-central South Dakota say the home of a missing woman has been vandalized. • • News outlets report that the Sanborn County sheriff's office says vandals shattered a window, entered the home of 30-year-old Rachel Cyriacks, and broke a table and a light fixture. • • Sheriff Tom Fridley says nothing was taken. He says the vandals spray-painted "riverside for life" and an expletive on the front of the home. • • Fridley says he doesn't know whether the phrase is connected to the disappearance. • • Cyriacks was last seen on the morning of Nov. 13 in Woonsocket. She is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. • • The Woonsocket woman was last seen in a silver Chevrolet c1500 pickup that authorities say has a lot of damage underneath. • • ]
