Light snow will move into parts of western and central SD this morning. A quick one to two inches of snowfall is possible for some areas. Snow should taper off by the afternoon. Otherwise cool temperatures and a light east to northeast breeze can be expected today. Significantly warmer air will move into the region Saturday and Sunday. However, be prepared for the possibility of a strong storm system to move into the Northern Plains late Sunday and Monday. This system could bring snow and strong winds to parts of the Dakotas. Keep up to date for further details concerning this system.
