• Groton was held to six points in the fourth quarter and Reilly Ell was the only double figure scorer as Aberdeen Roncalli defeated the Tigers in boys basketball action Monday in Aberdeen, 58-55.
• Ell led all scorers with 25 points followed by Mason Madsen with nine, Kasey Kurtz seven, Lucas Sternhagen five, Wyatt Lone four, Kyler Ell three and Spencer Knecht two.
• Groton made 56 percent of its field goals, had more rebounds, 23-20, more blocks, 5-4, and fewer fouls, 13-12.
• Groton was 10 of 12 from the line for 83 percent and Roncalli was seven of nine for 78 percent.
• Reilly Ell had nine rebounds and three blocks. Five different players had one steal. Knecht and Kurtz each had two assists.
