still led at the end of the break, 31-28. • Ell converted a three-point play to start off the fourth quarter as Groton took a 33-28 lead, but the Chargers surged back to take a 35-34 lead with 5:23 left in the third quarter. Groton tied the game at 35 and Kyler Ell hit a three-pointer to put Groton back on top, 39-37. In a matter of 54 seconds, the Chargers hit a two- and a three-pointer to take a 42-39 lead. Rielly Ell hit a three-pointer to tie the game at 43 with 52 seconds left. Groton called time-out as Hamlin had the ball with 50 seconds left. As intense as the Tiger defense was, Ryder Grantham threw up a wild shot at the buzzer that went in as Hamlin won the game, 45-43.
