Cold temperatures continue today. Tonight, increasing southerly winds will again result in very cold wind chill values, but mainly before midnight. After midnight temperatures will begin to rise. Highs by Friday afternoon will be in the 30s and 40s. Precipitation chances increase Friday as well. A wintery mix is possible Friday afternoon, but will turn all to snow Friday night behind a cold front. Gusty northwest winds will follow. A very cold air mass then moves in through early next week. Wind chill values late Sunday through Tuesday could be as cold as -40 or -50 degrees.
