• Four Groton Area wrestlers placed at the Gregory Tournament held Saturday. Kelby Hawkins placed first while Rayce Harder, Jeric Albrecht and Tyler Scott all placed second.
• Hawkins, at 120 pounds, pinned his first opponent, Austin Hofer, Marion-Freeman, in 18 seconds, then he pinned Joel Brouse, Lower Brule, in 2:32; he pinned Dalton Bodewtz, Marion-Freeman, in 49 seconds, and in the championship match, he decisioned Leo Hopkins, Alcester-Hudson, 6-0.
• Harder, at 132 pounds, scored a major decision over Sam Caba, Bon Homme-Scottland, 9-0; and in the championship match, he was decisioned by Nic Watson, Marion-Freeman, 3-2.
• Albrecht, at 145 pounds, pinned Kale Kerstjens, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte, in 23 seconds, he pinned Michael Clark, Burke-Gregory, 1:45; he pinned Michael Cremer, Marion-Freeman, 1:40; and in the championship match, he was decisioned by Levi Schonebaum, Burke-Gregory, 5-2.
• Tyler Scott, at 170 pounds, scored a two-point reversal in the third period to decision Jaxson Brueggeman, Miller/Highmore-Harrold, 10-9; and in the championship match, h was pinned by Jonah Bectz, Burke-Gregory, 2:45.

• Wyatt Locke at 120 pounds. He was pinned by Leo Hopkins, Andes Central, 1:20; and he was pinned by Austin Hofer, Marion-Freeman, 3:44.
• Brandyn Anderson at 195 pounds. He was pinned by Duwain Kerner, Burke-Gregory, 1:03; and he was pinned by Alan Haataja, Bon Homme-Scottland, 3:49.
• Last weekend at the Clark Tournament, Kelby Hawkins placed first, Jeric Albrecht was second and Tyler Scott was fourth.
• Hawkins, 120,  pinned Andrew Edgar, Faulkton, 1:04; and in the championship match, he pinned Braden Whiting, Redfield-Doland, 0:38.
• Albrecht, 145, pinned Brady Miles, Redfield-Doland, 1:32; and in the championship match, he was decisioned by Austin Grout, Webster, 11-4.
• Scott, 170, pinned Layne Stransness, Clark-Willow Lake, 1:15; he was pinned by Ryan Yost, Redfield-Doland, 2:44; he pinned his opponent from Warner-Northwestern, 5:03; and in the third place match, he was decisioned by Steven Wegleitner, Britton-Hecla, 5-3.
• Wyatt Locke, 126, was pinned by Caleb Orris, Clark-Willow Lake, 2:15; and he was pinned by Tucker Vincent, Kingsbury County, 2:43.
• Brandyn Anderson, 195, was pinned by Mitchell Giatzowski, Webster, 1:15; and he won by forfeit against a Redfield-Doland wrestler, but then was pinned by Ray Edgar, Faulkton, 5:03.
• Parker Kroll, 152, was decisioned by Rob Wiley, Webster, 7-2; and he was decisioned by Sully Masat, Redfield-Doland, 7-0.
