Region Volleyball Groton upsets top seed Britton-Hecla
Like Assistant Coach Joel Guthmiller said after the match, "You can have an exciting volleyball match when you put two good teams together." And last night, Groton Area knocked off top seeded Britton-Hecla to advance to the region championship game on Tuesday. "I challenged the girls at the beginning of the year," said Coach Aaron
Kylie Hawkins
Helvig, "that there's one thing missing up on the wall in the Arena. There's no banner for volleyball. Wouldn't be awesome if we could do that. We want to reach our goal and do something that's never been done before in our school history. Volleyball has been in Groton since the late 1980s."
