baking. She was known for her excellent cooking and bakery skills. Mary also worked at Jerry's Red Owl in the produce department. She later worked for the State Social Service Dept. as a homemaker aide. Mary will be forever remembered for her kind heart. • Mary was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and altar society. She also belonged to the Phosde Club. • Mary passed away October 28, 2013 at Golden Living Center, Groton. She had resided there since 2009. • Gratefully sharing her life are her four children, Virginia (Eddy) Nehls of Groton; Marilyn (Wyn) Bahr of Madison, Wisconsin; Roberta Johnson of Menifee, California; Dodie (Lyle) Reder of Groton, ten grandchildren: Vicki (Bob) Walter, Mike (JoAnn) Nehls, Debbie (Chris) Gross, Carla (Justin) Schopp, Kevin (Shana) Nehls, Pam (Steve) Barnes, David (Pam) Bahr, Amy (Wade) Finke, Doug (Monica) Johnson and Kathy (Dave) Kingston. Mary is also survived by 33 great-grandchildren, 35 great-great-grandchildren, 2 nieces and 2 nephews. • Preceding her in death was her husband, Forrest, on July 8, 1980; two grandson-in-laws, Randy Kingston and Glenn Sperry; her son-in-law, Myron Johnson; her grandson, Tony Bahr; her brother, Robert Harnois and sister-in-law, Delores Harnois and niece, Gail Harnois. • Casketbearers will be Mike Nehls, Kevin Nehls, Chris Gross, Justin Schopp, Bob Walter, Steve Barnes, Doug Johnson, David Bahr and Wade Finke.
