the Legion in Groton. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen. • Lorraine was born in Spain, South Dakota, on August 28, 1925. She was the only child of David and Jennie (Jones) Jones. She attended Spain School in Lowell Township and graduated from Britton High School in 1942. She attended South Dakota State University for one year, and attended Northwest Institute of Medical Technology in Minneapolis, MN for a year. She was a Registered Technologist MT. She worked at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Sterling, CO, St. Lukes Hospital and Dr. J.L Calene's Office in Aberdeen, SD. Lorraine married Dale Eugene Hosley on September 7, 1947 in Britton, SD. They made their home on a farm near Puney, SD. They were blessed with two loving children, a daughter, Gaylene and a son, David. In 1974, she started work at the First National Bank in Groton, SD, which later became Norwest. She retired in 1987. Lorraine married Otho Rix in April of 1986. They loved to travel and enjoyed life at Pickerel. On May 1, 1998, she married Ben Anderson. They enjoyed traveling. In January of 2010, she moved to Waterford At All Saints in Sioux Falls. • Lorraine was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Groton, SD for 50 years, Presbyterian Woman, and was a church Elder. She was an active member of the Putney Ladies Aid, Order of the Eastern Star, P.E.O., Pasquest Club and numerous bridge clubs. She was a warm, loving person who loved life to the fullest and her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the lights of her life. • Lorraine will be deeply missed by her daughter, Gaylene Haber; her son, David Hosley; her grandchildren, Chad (Annette) Haber, Heidi (Paul) Van Veldhuizen, John (Stacy) Haber, Merritt (Katrina) Hosley, Timothy (Tiffany) Hosley, and William Hosley; and eleven great-grandchildren. • Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents, David and Jennie Jones; husbands Dale Hosley, Otho Rix, and Ben Anderson; son-in-law, Denton Haber; grandson, John Peter Hosley; and great-grandson, Luke David Van Veldhuizen.
