SDSU fills up slots in football schedules
• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- South Dakota State says it's filling up its football schedules through 2016 with season openers against FBS opponents. • The Jackrabbits will open their 2014 campaign at Missouri, and the 2015 season will kick off at Kansas. • South Dakota State will open its 2016 season in Fort Worth, Texas against Texas Christian. That contest fulfills a contract originally negotiated with the University of Minnesota that was later transferred to TCU. • The non-conference portion of the 2014 schedule also includes games against Cal Poly and Southern Utah. • Head coach John Stiegelmeier says he's excited about the additions •
