Mountain lion photographed at night near Oahe Dam
• PIERRE, S.D. (AP) -- A trail camera has confirmed a report of a mountain lion near Oahe Dam north of Pierre. • The state Game, Fish and Parks Department says the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers camera photographed the big cat passing through an undeveloped natural area below the Missouri River dam. • The mountain lion was photographed at night and has not been aggressive or judged to be a threat to public safety. • The agency says policy is to kill lions only if they show aggressive behavior toward humans or attack livestock or pets.
