• "They took the tube out and Dr. Watt asked him what he name was," his father said. "'Scott Boner,' he says. 'What day is it?' Scott says, 'Let's see, I graduated on Saturday and today is Tuesday.' I didn't even know what day it was. Right then we knew he was going to be fine. There may be some challenges but nothing like what we were preparing for."
• Later in the day, Scott sat up and he was hungry.
• "That was the best moment of my life," Jeff said.
