3 horses hit by truck, killed in Minnehaha County
• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- Minnehaha County authorities are investigating a hit-and-run that killed three horses.
• The sheriff's office says the horses escaped from a fenced area and were struck by what authorities believe was a pickup truck early Saturday. The driver left the scene without reporting the crash.
• Officers have recovered evidence from the truck at the scene. They're asking anyone with information to contact them.
