• Groton's boys soccer team defeated Mitchell, 3-2. The game was played Thursday in Mitchell.
• Mitchell scored first at the 25 minute mark of the first half on a free kick outside the box.  Groton followed up with a goal at the 35 minute mark on a penalty kick taken by Jacob Milbrandt.   The penalty was earned by Luke Sternhagen when he was fouled on a shot in the box.  At 40 minutes, Ehkhu Poe scored on a cross from Luca Kother.  Groton led, 2-1, after the first half.
