Madsen to second. Jorgensen's pop fly was caught bythe second baseman. Spencer Knecht would step to hit a double to left field that would bring Madsen home and end the game with Groton up, 9-8.
• "It feels awesome," Spencer Knecht said. "It's hard to put into words (what it means to have the winning hit.), its the best feeling in the world! I just got up there and he gave me one right down the middle, so I swung at it."
