Tropical Storm Flossie is quickly moving towards the Hawaiian Island

• As of 11:00am ET, Tropical Storm Flossie is centered near 17.8N and 139.3W or about 1040 miles east of Hilo, Hawaii. The tropical system is quickly moving to the west-northwest at about 20 miles per hour and has maximum sustained winds of 65 miles per hour. Flossie is expected to slowly weaken over the next few days as it approaches the Hawaiian Islands.
