• Thirteen teams traveled from around the area to compete in the Party in the Pasture Mud Volleyball Tournament on Saturday. Last year's runner-up team, 5 Star Fishgut Faction, returned for another bid at the trophy, successfully this year.
• The team of USD students from Vermillion, led by Cody Hanson, Groton, took no prisoners as they successfully took down the competition one team at a time. The final championship game was the closest match with the team down at one point, only to bounce back to win by three points.
