• Shawn Lambertz, the new electric lineman, was introduced to the council.
• There will be a Department of Transportation meeting July 16 in Aberdeen to review the four-year plan that the state will be doing. That plan includes Highway 37 through Groton which is scheduled to be done in 2016.
• A mowing list was reviewed by the council and letters will be sent out.
