Have you ever noticed that sometimes, when you're in a hurry, someone or something will find a way to slow you down? That happened to me last night when I was shopping.  I decided to purchase three yards of fabric and had to wait at least ten minutes for someone to come and cut it for me.  Once "Lila" arrived she proceeded to straighten and tug and pull on the very stretchy knit fabric trying ever so carefully to get things in line before she made the cut.  After about ten minutes I could feel the needle on my patience meter getting very near the empty mark.  Finally she got things squared away and finally I had fabric in my cart and I was on my way.  I'm not sure where the lesson was but it sort of reminded me of how impatient we were getting for Spring to arrive.  Now that it's here I'm betting we are all sort of forgetting about that very long wait that forced us to be patient.
• Don and Becky Wegleitner and Beverly Patterson made their way to Eden a while back to take in the wing feed at Club Eden.  While there they visited with some of the Forman people Beverly used to see on a daily basis when she lived there.  After supper the trio stopped in to visit and play several hands of whist with Alvina Opitz.  Everyone had a wonderful time and had there been prizes for the most fierce
