A few light showers or sprinkles are possible today over the east, but the remainder of the area should be dry. For Friday a cold front will track across the region late in the day. Scattered showers, and even a couple thunderstorms, are expected in the vicinity of the front. Meanwhile, Friday will be warmer than today due to southerly breezes.
