1. Call to Order with members present. Approve agenda as proposed or amended. CONSENT AGENDA: 1. Approval of minutes of March 11, 2013, school board meeting as drafted or amended. 2. Approval of minutes of March 25, 2013, school board meeting as drafted or amended. 3. Approval of North Central Special Education Co-Op (NCSEC) bills for payment
as school of record. 4. Approval of March District bills for payment. OLD/CONTINUING BUSINESS: 1. Open Forum for Public Participation
in accordance with Board Policy & Guidelines. 2. Approval of March Financial Report, Agency Accounts, and Investments. 3. Discuss Quarterly "Internal Control" Assessment: Bank Reconciliations, Show Choir. 4. Review, with possible approval, Lease Agreement with City of Groton for use of soccer complex. 5. Follow-up discussion of whether or not to reinstate any additional level of funding for the four programs (cheerleading, debate, Destination Imagination, and golf) cut as a result of state of South Dakota 2011-2012 budget cuts to education. 6. Approve the recommended change to the length of the instructional school day for 2013-2014, currently runs from 8:30-3:18, recommended to run from 8:30-3:30. 7. Approve proposal for Three -Year Plan to transition from laptops/tablets to iPads. 8. School Board Committee Reports: Buildings, Grounds, & Transportation: Lars Hanson, Marty Weismantel Personnel, Policy, & Curriculum: Dorene Nelson, Joy Voss Negotiations: Kelly Kjelden, Steve Schaller, Steve Smith 9. Administrative Reports: (a) Update on Roof Leaks at MS/HS, (b) School Lunch Program, (c) Principals' Reports NEW BUSINESS: 1. Approve resignation from Adam Franken as yearbook advisor effective upon the completion of the 2012-2013 school year and 2012-2013 yearbook. 2. Approve resignation from April Coyne as 6th-12th grade computer teacher upon completion of the 2012-2013 school year.
