• Ulvestad was at the line for James Valley Christian and he missed the front end of a bonus shot, giving the ball to Langford. With 11 seconds left, Langford having the ball and trailing by two, both teams called a full time out.
• On the inbound pass, a James Valley Christian player got in the way of the pass and intercepted it. Adam Hofer was fouled and he made two free throws as the Vikings won by four, 49-45. "We wanted to go to Planteen on the lob on the back side and if not, go to Fries and let him drive" Raasch said. "Mike (Erickson) saw an opening and they (JV Christian) defended it well. You have to give them credit for that play."
• Bo Fries led the Lions with 17 points followed by Drew Planteen with 11, Chase Larson had seven, Zach Punt six and Michael Erickson had four points.
