Michigan man accused of kidnapping son enters plea
• HOWELL, Mich. (AP) -- A Livingston County man accused of abducting his son and taking him out of state without the approval of the boy's mother has pleaded guilty in the case.
• Mark Grabowski made the plea this week to unlawful retention of a child by a parent.
• The 53-year-old from Hartland Township is to be sentenced Feb. 28.
• Authorities say Grabowski took his 11-year-old son to South Dakota in August without the permission of the boy's mother, Kelly Cracchiolo-Evans of St. Clair County's Casco Township.
• The FBI found Grabowski and his son on Sept. 7 on a hunting ranch in Platte, S.D.
