"Langford is one of the more surprising teams this year," Wanner said. "They are 6-3 and they're beating some good teams in the past couple of weeks. We match up well with them. It's going to be a battle. T hey play physical and we will have to match that."

• Groton won the junior varsity game, 23-14. Groton led at the quarter stops at 15-6, 17-10 and 19-10. Carly Wheeting led Groton with six points followed by Audrey Wanner and Tori Bjerke with four each, Ashley Gibbs and Nicole Fey each had three, Marlee Jones had two points and Natalia Dohman added one free throw.
