USD mock trial team selling statue calendar
• VERMILLION, S.D. (AP) -- The University of South Dakota mock trial team has come up with a statuesque way to raise money for a scholarship fund. • The team is selling a 2013 calendar with each month portraying the William O. The life-sized statue on Dakota Hall terracewas dedicated in 2002. • The team provides students the opportunity to learn basic trial advocacy skills and compete against teams in the region and from around the nation. • The $15 calendar was created by USD Creative Services and team members, who spent time last fall preparing props and taking photos of the campus landmark. •
