Winter Weather Impacting Portions of California this Weekend

• The stretch of calm, dry weather in California has come to an end this weekend as a storm system moves through the region. Rainfall will develop across much of California through Sunday afternoon, and higher elevations will experience snow. These wintery conditions may produce hazardous travel along Interstate 5 and other mountain passes in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and foothills.
