huge success, raising over #3500.00. The money will be donated to the Avera St. Lukes Cancer Foundation in Aberdeen. This money is used for life saving medications, lodging, transportation, educational materials and much more. The Avera Cancer Foundations' Mission statement is to respond to God's calling for those in need. Without the Generous support of this great community this fundraiser would not have been a success. At the 2011 event, which was the first on of this kind in Groton , just over $1900.00 was raised that money was also donated to the Avera St. Lukes cancer foundation in Aberdeen. The Breast Cancer Awareness committee would like to thank those who donated to the silent auction and raffle: Aberdeen Chrysler Center, and Dohmna, Florals and more, Gloria Pharis, Kim Weber, Remember Me Photography/Diane Kurtz, and Salon Remix/ Angela Glover. The committee would also like to thank all those who donated baked goods, bought shirts, raffle tickets and other fundraising items.
