• PIERRE, S.D. - Gov. Dennis Daugaard has awarded a total of $358,310 in Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) money to several communities. The federal assistance program provides up to 50 percent reimbursement for outdoor recreation projects.

• • Brandon - Aspen Park land acquisition, $50,000
• • Brookings - Valley View Park development, $45,000
• • Dell Rapids - city park playground project, $38,000
• • Gettysburg - Little Angels Playground improvements, $20,000
