• Sharlene Hoffman and Richie Anderson will exchange marriage vows on Saturday November 10th.  In celebration of their nuptials they are hosting a wedding dance at the Claremont Legion Hall.  Everyone is welcome to attend.  Congratulations Sharlene and Richie!
• Bonita and Dick Edwards from Hecla and Debbie Murray were Sunday guests at the home of Ann Bailey.  As a reminder, Ann's daughter Carrie and her husband Jim Walton will be celebrating 25 years of marriage and a party in their honor will take place at the bar in Hecla this Saturday, November 10th starting at 4pm. 
• I did a little traveling this past weekend and I found some of that white stuff on the ground, a bit concentrated in some areas.  Years ago I would have surely put that on my list of things to be thankful for hoping for lots more, preferably on a Sunday night!  It's funny how our perception of blessings shift as time goes on.  Now I don't hope for lots and lots of snow, now I hope the calendar says April when I get up in the morning….and it's still only November.
