• Groton 8th graders totally dominated the Britton/Hecla Braves in Thursday's Jr. High football game. The Tigers used both passing and rushing yards to win the game, 38-0.
• The Tigers kicked off, giving the Braves first possession of the ball. On the second down, Britton/Hecla fired off a long pass that was picked off by Groton's Trevor Pray on his own 20 yard line.
