Milbank girls win, 3-1

• Groton's Lady Tigers defeated the Milbank Bulldogs in the first set of volleyball on Thursday night, but were unable to win in the end. The Bulldogs won 3-1, the game scores were 25-22, 14-25,14-25 and 19-25

• Kylie Hawkins led the Tigers in attacks, she was 32 out of 37 for 11 kills, Erica Schuster was 17 out of 20 on attacks and had seven kills. The team had 24 kills. Milbank had 39 kills for the team (Kendra Snaza 41 out of 50 for 24 kills, Brittany Ackerman 13 out of 15 for 7 kills)
• The Tigers had eight aces, serving 57 out 69

serves.(Hawkins was 10 for 15, Schuster was 10 for 11 and Savanna Larson was 10 for 13, all three had two aces each.)
