Boys soccer beat Aberdeen, lose to JV Christian

• On Saturday, September 1, the Groton Boys Varsity soccer team traveled to Aberdeen Central and played a tough game winning 1-0.  Scoring for Groton was Kapow Htoo (assist Toby Carda) at the 9:25 mark in the second half. 
• The Groton Varsity boys soccer team dominated play in a game against James Valley Christian on Thursday, September 6  but lost 2-1. James Valley Christian scored the first goal at the 20:24 mark of the first half on a free kick. In the second half, JVC scored at the 26:19 and Groton followed at 18:28 with a goal by Luke Sternhagen (assist Jacob Milbrandt). Goal
