• The Andover Friendship Garden club met July 5, 2012 at the home of Ilene Helmer , President Velma Witt called the meeting to order with Flag pledges and club pledge recited in unison. Four members responded to the roll call question "What is your favorite bird?" The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Elizabeth Abernathy reported a balance of $156.43. There were no bills. Correspondence was an encouraging phone call to attend the S.D. Federated State Garden Club convention in Mobridge, July 5-7, 2012. Velma and Elizabeth plan to attend.
