• In the  bottom of the fifth, two fly balls and a line-out made it a quick end to the game.

• Fordham was the winning pitcher, pitching four innings, throwing 53 pitches for five strike-outs and two hits. Mason Madsen pitched the last inning, throwing eight pitches. Thorson was the catcher.
• Groton had 23 runs on 16 hits, they left six on base and Miner/McCook had five errors. Miner/McCook had one run, two hits, they left none on base and Groton played an error-free game.
• Groton will play Corsica at 1 p.m. today and the winner of that game will play Flandreau at  5 p.m.
