Both Ryan Delzer and Eric May went down swinging for two quick outs. Drew Planteen hit one to center field for a single, but Weston Hoglund would also go down swinging as the game remains tied at six after seven innings. • It was a quick one-two-three inning for Vermillion in the top of the eighth. • An error by Vermillion allowed a misplay grounder to put Brandon Stanley on first. He advanced to second on a Matt Thorson grounder.
