• Audrey Wanner said, "My character was Abby Kanabby and I loved it because all of the kids would want to take pictures with me and hug me!" Even though the temperature was hot she still managed to enjoy herself by having fun with all of the little kids.
• Kasey Waage said, "I was the princess Alice Wonderland and it was so much fun seeing all of the kids wanting to take pictures with us. I had a great time helping out with Miles of Smiles." Kasey had a blast helping out as well as a lot of the volunteers did.
• Dr. Opp put on this program because it was his way of giving back to the community. It was a place where kids could have fun for no cost. "I had gained a few more patients from putting on this event but there is no real benefit, it is just self-rewards," says Opp. From hosting this event, Dr. Opp has won the Abby Award and people are looking to make Miles of Smiles National because of its success.
