A weak upper level disturbance will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms to the area this morning. Additional showers and thunderstorms are expected later this afternoon as a stronger storm system moves across the area. Some thunderstorms this afternoon may become strong to severe and produce hail and damaging winds.
