Rapid City woman pleads guilty to bank embezzling
• RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) -- A Rapid City woman has pleaded guilty to embezzling from the bank where she worked. • Twenty-year-old Krissa Shewey is accused of stealing checks from mailboxes in December and January and then cashing them at the bank. • U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says Shewey faces up to 30 years in prison and a $250,000 fine when she is sentenced on Nov. 16. •
