• Groton Legion Post #39 defeated Redfield and American Legion Baseball Tuesday night in Groton, 15-0. The win gives Groton a 16-4 record on the season.
• Groton scored 15 runs on 13 hits and had no errors. Pitcher Matt Thorson pitched a no-hitter in the six-inning game, having seven strike-outs and had three walks. Redfield had four errors.
• Kalen Kjellsen was three for four at bat with two runs scored and he had two doubles. Thorson was three for four at bat with one run scored and had a double. Jamie Jorgensen had a double and a single. Adding one hit each were Brandon Stanley, Mitch Madsen, Zach Herron, Weston Hoglund and Catcher Ryan Delzer.
