• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- A campaign on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation to raise awareness about the high rate of suicide among the reservation's youth is reminding them what all of them can have -- hope. • The rate of suicide on the reservation is at least 150 percent higher than the national average. In 2009, the Oglala Sioux Tribe declared a state of emergency because of state of suicides on the reservation, which also has high rates of unemployment, violence and alcoholism. • As part of the Lakota Voice Project, organizers gave about 200 disposable cam (Continued on page 16)
